Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Hunter was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a shield on her belt, and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her hair is black and curly. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Herleva lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Herleva fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by orcs. A freak accident while working with his Sailor father left him crippled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy
