Personality: This woman loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Jacoba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oriel embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oriel grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
