History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Through the years after Patrick was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Patrick's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
