Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Adelard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. She's also a talented Blacksmith, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Aline hails from a village terrorized by goblins. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Aline never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: A deep hatred of goblins.
