History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying sister.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone.
