She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Joan was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Through the years after William was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. William's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. He sports a long blonde beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
