History: He comes from a rich southern family. Through the years after Anselm was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Anselm's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
