History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Butcher kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A gifted student he started as a Glassblower, but he got bored and became a Butcher. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Butcher for the past few years.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Lewis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Lewis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He struck the Mortician job and began his own company from there.
