History: Randal lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: Bernard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her first spouse was a Carpenter, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes giants are coming to abduct people. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of a Seamstress, who enjoyed hunting, Ermina was taken on many hunting expeditions. Ermina was born on a far northern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Shoemaker. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
