Description: He wears a green armored body suit, with a simple red line shooting up and back down. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly bastard swords and shields. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gerard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gerard. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: Everard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the south to a Scribe, Everard learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and retire the richest man in the south
