History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Katherine grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.

History: Born in the north to a Mortician, Juliana learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Sculptor, but she got bored and became a Mortician. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
