When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Barber hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Born to a Brewer, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Matilda alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Matilda was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.
