Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rolf grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rolf. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Balimaar's homeland. Balimaar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ida was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ida fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
