History: Born in the east to a Sage, Diggory learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He became a Sage soon after.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He got into the Sculptor business at a young age. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Roland was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Roland's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Emeny will drive conversation. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Beggar. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
