Description: This man stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears blue robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a longsword, but if one is not available he will default to his glaive. His black hair is knotted and matted. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He works hard and plays hard.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: This woman wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her red hair is cut short. Her half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Anne does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she feels kind of lost in life

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Norman was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she is well dressed, constantly wearing a black suit, tan shirt, and green tie. She has a very tight haircut. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and a deep hatred of dire rats
