History: Thomas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She struck the Bowyer job and began her own company from there.
