History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born in the east. Herleva was born on a far eastern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Healer. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Herleva was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Balimaar was born with his father's beautiful face. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
