History: Gifted from a young age, Ahlyssa studied abroad. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Helen was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Helen's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Helen and her spouse have recently divorced.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
