Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears skinny pants and wears a violet and brown robe with the hood down, marred by sweets. His blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. During his travels, Bertram and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Bertram discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Bertram fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Hugh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gifted student he started as a Healer, but he got bored and became a Server. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Carter business.

History: Gifted from a young age, Eloise studied abroad. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Eloise and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
