History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has achieved small success as a Herbalist.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
