Personality: Raymond wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Maynild was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
