History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has achieved small success as a Performer.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 51. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Vicky does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. She struck the Navigator job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and revenge
