Description: This northern man is abnormally tall. He wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He has a very tight haircut. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His golden hair is braided into rings. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Spice Merchant. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to be a stableman again
