History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
