History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Roland was born on a far southern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Cook. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gerard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.
