History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. After coming to the age of reason, Manfred took it upon himself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Anthony was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Joan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
