Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Richard's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born in the south. Richard abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This younger middle-aged woman wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress), and a wedding ring on her right hand. Her moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Emma alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down
