History: He comes from a rich eastern family. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She takes great joy in being the best Bookbinder in town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She struck the Bookbinder job and began her own company from there.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Percival embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Gifted from a young age, Percival studied abroad. A freak accident while working with his Barrister father left him crippled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
