History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

Theobald's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Map Maker for the past few years.

When her father died while fighting orcs, the young Elysande began to lead the lost caravan. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
