Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Ella enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Ella was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. The war was a terrible time for her, and Margery does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alexandre grew up listening to his father's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.
