History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying south to reunite her family. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Elysande lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She's also a talented Healer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ella is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born in a small forest village. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
