Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She moved out north to avoid the crime she committed. After months of barely getting by, Jacoba managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

History: Born in the north to a Navigator, William learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Shoemaker, but he was a colossal failure. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
