Cecily was born on a far eastern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Miner. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Anselm is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Baker but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Trym and his spouse have recently divorced.
