History: Born to a Herbalist, his father struggled to pay the bills. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Conrad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Conrad. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Conrad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Shane was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student she started as a Courier, but she got bored and became a Soapmaker. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and further expansion of business

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Emma was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Spy. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
