History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her first spouse was a Dilettante, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Joan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gifted student she started as a Baker, but she got bored and became a Miller. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
