History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Herleva's homeland. Herleva decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Beggar. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Avice was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She worked as a nervous Beggar and found it very stressful. She has worked as a Beggar like her father before her.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is dark but he possesses many blue ritualistic tattoos. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His brown hair is smooth and relatively long. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her first spouse was a Courier, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: To end her boredom.
