History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shipwright and was forced into it by her family; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His first spouse was a Fortune-teller, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has never given up on his painting dream.
