Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Avelina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Charles was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to end his boredom
