History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Matilda was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Masseuse. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Cory began to lead the lost caravan. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Guy was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
