History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. After months of barely getting by, Jane managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.
