Description: He wears suspenders and violet workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy violet leather apron most of the time. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His black hair is braided into rings. His eyes are hazel and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Tim was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Navigator. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and wants to open a new tavern

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Guard responsibilities is difficult; and doesn't want to be a guard and was forced into it by his family

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She is renowned for her bright brown dresses and hats. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her hazel eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and to unite with her brother
