Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a simple violet robe with tan stripes complete with hood. His black hair is cut short. His eyes are gray and beady.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: Ralf hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with black lining and desert motifs. His hair is short and silver. His brown eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. During his travels, Arnold and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Arnold discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Arnold fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
