Personality: Beatrice wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She dropped out of school to support her sick father, and resented it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to be a stableman again
