Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She is wearing a long, tan cloak. She has shaved her head bald. Her blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.
History: Giselle hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. After coming to the age of reason, Giselle took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Giselle was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: This late middle aged man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his quarterstaff with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt and is in decent physical shape. His hair is cut close to his head. His eyes are blue.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: Money/treasure; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a grey vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His brown leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his grey boots flare out at the collars. He wears his brown hair up in a very large beehive style do. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.
Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Adam has worked very hard to control his curse. During his travels, Adam and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Adam discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Adam fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
