History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
