History: He was born in the west. Hugh was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Sculptor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
