History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Jacoba was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 81. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Don was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Don never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Anselm and his spouse have recently divorced.
