History: Randal hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull black iron scale mail. His head has been shaved. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Beggar and occasionally as a mercenary.
