Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy chestnut hair. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He has a very tight haircut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Jeweler born in the past three hundred years. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gunter grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Gunter took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. He's also a talented Barkeep, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he is wearing a long, white, dusty cloak. His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: Born in the east to a Sculptor, Wymar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He tends to his Sculptor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new sculptor responsibilities is difficult

Description: This late middle aged woman tends to wear a large green jacket and is in decent physical shape. She has styled her red hair well, parting it to the right. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Emeny was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.
Motivation: To unite with her sister; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it
