History: Griselda lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This northern woman likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has decided she is irredeemable

Description: She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. Her blonde hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Avelina took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor she uses now. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Melissa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
